CrossPoint's Purpose, Mission and Vision

CrossPoint Church began with a desire to return to the essence of church life by reexamining the first century Church as explained in the book of Acts. The first century church was simplistic. Its focus was on meeting the needs of the people. Christians lived in close communities: they were undistracted in their generous giving, devotedness to prayer, the reading and preaching of the Word of God, and singing to God.

What to Expect at CrossPoint Church

Preaching from the Bible

Although we sometimes preach topical sermons, we typically preach verse by verse through books of the Bible.

Simple Worship

When we examine Jesus' ministry, we see simple. CrossPoint believes in a no-frills worship service.

Fellowship

We believe in close fellowship. We have a full meal on the first Sunday of the month and also on special occasions.

Discipleship

We are focused on discipleship. We are working and praying to send out teachers and pastors into the world.

Planting

We believe that as we train young members, these will go out and plant other churches.

Participation

We enlist all willing people in the worship service. Participants read, serve, and teach.
